Dear Fellow Members:

We are providing a blog to communicate with members who have demonstrated that they share concerns related to the vision in the proposal presented by the Board of Directors in the fall of 2015. The consensus of many members was that the proposal changed the focus of the Club from golf with other social amenities to social with golf secondary. Also expressed by members was fear that the financial integrity of our Club could be compromised. Both concerns have been addressed directly to the Board and the Board contests both these assumptions.

The blog is named “Friends of Our Club”.  You may communicate with other members through this medium and share your thoughts and suggestions which can be viewed by any interested party.

WHY A “FRIENDS OF OUR CLUB” BLOG?
Members  want a healthy club that serves all members equally, is sound financially, with minimal debt, that recognizes all members have common as well as unique needs that can be achieved without jeopardizing the financial integrity of the Club.

To provide a forum to encourage the Board to be fully transparent in their communication with the membership.

To assist in articulating a common strategy that may be used to facilitate the Board of Directors in the development of plans that benefit members in all categories of membership.

The desire to have an efficient and fully transparent  communications vehicle that has the capacity to reach all members of common and differing viewpoints.
